This week we are focusing on the French artist Monet. We experimented with colours (and learnt the French names for these), changing them to create lighter and darker colours in green and blue.
As Monet used a lot of greens and blues in his pictures, we decided to use these colours to experiment with.
We have also started drawing the Eiffel Tower as this links in with the French theme and also our topic of metals. We had drawn one first from memory and then we did another from an instruction video. They were really good. Cedar are extremely good artists.
