What a fantastic week Miss Brown & I have had in France. Such a fantastic experience in the beautiful city of Carcassonne. We have been to French school to learn French, explored Carcassonne and went to Toulouse to a French school to spend the day with the children. In France all children have to bring a bag as they don’t provide equipment in school so children have to bring pencils, pens, rubbers, rulers, pencil crayons, scissors, glue and even bring their own paints! During the afternoon one class did art and the teacher provided pastel crayons these however were placed on two chairs at the front of the class and children would only be allowed to take one at a time. The teachers and children made us feel very welcome and made us lots of little pictures, cards and gifts.
