This half term, Year 6 have been writing ghost stories. To help imagine what it would be like for characters in different settings, we’ve been immersing ourselves in a range of settings such as graveyards, haunted mansions, basements and attics.
The children had the chance to explore the settings, taking in all the sights and sounds to help inspire their writing. They used the FANTASTICs (9 lenses we can look through to help gather ideas for our writing) to gather a range of ideas to put into their writing. We will post some of the results very soon.
