The Digital leader had a fantastic opportunity to explore how to merge Computing, Design Technology and Science in an extremely fun and creative way. After learning how to connect the microcontroller by creating an electric circuit, the children then wrote programs using the free software (a block based language, similar to Scratch), which enabled them to work with a range of input and output devices, including switches, buzzers, LED lights, light sensors and motors.

The Digital leaders worked well to compete a wind turbine to move when programming a motor and a volcano that lit up using different light sensors.
