This half term, we have been learning life cycles. In school we have butterflies and frogs that we have been observing. The butterflies started off as a caterpillar and we had to look after them and give them lots of food. When they got big they went into a cocoon. They are still in a cocoon and we can’t wait for them to turn into butterflies.
We have also been observing frogs in Reception. Mrs Mort brought us some frogspawn in and they turned into tadpoles. When they grew legs and they got super strong we observed them every day to check when they were finally a frog. When they turned into a frog we released them in Kayden’s garden. We hope they have a lovely time in there.
