Yesterday was World Mental Health awareness day. At St Luke’s, supporting good mental health and wellbeing is very important. Today the whole school took part in various sessions to celebrate this day.
As part of this, all KS2 took part in a live lesson from BBC teach linked with TES. The lesson specifically focussed on understanding emotions, growth mindset, various ways we can help ourselves keep good mental health and ideas of what we can do to help ourselves when we are having a blue day. We also had a few minutes of quiet time in which we learnt some breathing techniques and movements to help us feel calm.
