On Monday, we went on our first visit to the library. We talked about how we were going to walk up to the library and how to keep safe. It was really important to walk sensibly and listen to our teacher and the other adults who came with us.
When we had safely arrived at the library, we had a quick look around. We then went into the children’s section and Miss Longmire explained how the library works. Some of us had already been to Heywood library and enjoyed sharing their past experiences. Miss Longmire then read a few books to us as we sat and listened quietly, so other people could still concentrate!
Mrs Mort and Miss Robinson then took us around the whole library. We had to make sure we were super quiet!
Before we left, we were all able to explore in the children’s section. We chose a book that we would like to read and found a quiet space to have a look at it. We all remembered to put the book back in the correct place.
We all had a lovely trip to the library and we are excited to go again soon. As we were leaving the library, a librarian told us how good we had been and she was very impressed with how quiet we were. Well done Bluebells!
