We have started the year with our new class text ‘The suitcase’. During English we have been ordering the story, describing how the characters would be feeling and then we picked 4 or 5 really important things we would pack in our suitcase if we went into Space.
For our home time reading we have started the story Mr Penguin and the , we look forward to finding out what different adventures Mr Penguin will be taking part in. We have also started our paired reading where we take it in turns to pick a book and share it with our partners. Some children have even enjoyed bringing in their own favourite stories from home to share.
