Safer internet day

This year for Safer internet day the theme is ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.

We started the day with an assembly delivered by the digital leaders who shared the importance of staying safe online. They encouraged children to talk about what they do online.

In class we then completed a lesson about who we can trust online and who we can talk to if/when something upsets us.

To finish the day we listened to a story called ‘Once upon a time online’. This story was about different fairy tale characters who got a laptop and spent lots of money online. It explained about the ups and downs of going online.
