This morning, Sycamore were delighted to be able to welcome parents and family members in to join us at our shared learning and lunch.
As part of our new Sustainability topic, Year 6 have been looking at ways to reuse, recycle and reduce the amount of waste and products we use.
To support this message, we worked with our parents and family members to recycle plastic bottles, turning them into planters, which will form part of an eco flower wall in the school grounds.
We took part in a Kahoot quiz to test our key knowledge before cutting and painting the bottles. All of the bottles were painted with images that represent an issue facing the planet due to global warming and climate change.
It was a fantastic morning and we really enjoyed having parents and family with us for our learning and lunch.
