Here at St Luke’s we are working with The Skills Builder Partnership to ensure every learner has the opportunity to build eight essential skills to support their personal development, now and in the future.  Research has shown that building these essential skills can support the emotional wellbeing and academic success of children and young people, as well as preparing them for life beyond school. In assembly today, Miss Spears introduced the children to the eight essential skills that they will be taught and given the opportunity to practise throughout the year.
