Skills builder

We have been learning about Skills builder- things that you learn that help you to do other things.  This half term we are focussing on listening and speaking (presenting).  We discussed what these different words mean and what jobs will need these skills. We were then really honest and talked about if we feel like we need to work on these skills.

Next we looked at stereotypes and we completed the draw the job activity to draw a picture of what we think a footballer and a teacher might look like. Children then discussed their pictures with their partner.  A few children then practised these skills, from the skills builder, and presented their pictures to the rest of the class.
