Juniper really enjoyed our trip to Springfield Park last Thursday. We had an amazing opportunity to learn about and get really up close to some bees. We learnt lots of facts about their pollen and nectar, the Queen bee and the bee workers. We held some parts of the hive and saw the honeycomb they had made. We also planted a strawberry plant, looked at hedgehog and bug hotels, went orienteering to find out more facts about bees and investigated some wild flowers.
