Year 6 took part in a SCARF workshop focusing on mental health and well-being. Within the session the children focused on resilience, positive affirmations and how looked at different strategies to support them if they are feeling worried.

We found this lesson quite a challenge when threading needles and tying knots in the thread. However, we persevered and we believed in ourselves! In the end, we did it! Look at our lovely work practising cross stitch and running stitch.

Today we had a special guest. The dogs trust charity’s came in to work with us about how to be safe around dogs and how to teach others to be safe around dogs. Here are some pictures of our learning.
Year 3 Birch have had so much fun for our first week back. We have made woolly mammoths, read stories, wrote about our hopes and dreams, talked about what is important to us and revised over what we learnt in Year 2.
