In our grammar lesson this week, Year 2 learnt how to use commas in a list. After learning about why we use commas, we first practiced sentences verbally by using ‘Kung Fu Punctuation’. We then worked in groups to complete sentences by adding lists, using dry macaroni as commas.
This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day and we created some lovely acrositc poems. The children also took part in the 2 minute silence to show our respect.
