This afternoon the children have been thinking about the houses in the three little pigs story. We talked about the different materials they were made out of and whether those materials were a good choice to build with. The children then made their own house, choosing materials that they thought would withstand the big bad wolf’s huff and puff. We tested the houses by trying to blow them down with a hair dryer. Lots of the children made really sturdy houses that didn’t fall down.
