The children enjoyed their first history lesson this half term. We talked about transport and the children sorted transport into different groups. The children worked together as a team and decided how to sort the cards out. We then thought about how a lot of transport uses a wheel. We then created a timeline outside to show how long ago the wheel was invented and thought about when other forms of transport were invented. The children also thought about some of the jobs that were in the transport industry such as astronauts, train drivers, inventors and racing car drivers.
