Today Year 5 had a very exciting morning. A scientist from Urenco came in school to carry out some practical investigations with the children. First, we worked together to separate pasta, salt and lentils. After this, we discussed what makes a good scientific observation and the children observed different powders. the children then observed what happened when they added a liquid and discussed the acidity and alkalinity of the powders. The children followed safety instructions well and completed the investigations. Well done!
