We have started our new Art topic this half term- Map it out. For our first lesson we have been looking at different types of maps. We had to sort the maps into two different sections to match the titles for example: old and new, real and imaginary, maps and not maps.
We talked about how maps are used and why someone would make an imaginary map.
Following this we then created our own colourful map of a journey. We used our sketch books to create a map using colour, things that are important and interesting, and paths and roads we travel in.
