This morning we’ve been to the Golden mosque in Rochdale. We had a fantastic day and have learnt lots of information about the Islamic religion. The children were really well behaved and really enjoyed looking around the mosque.

We have been exploring strengths in different structures. We used card to make cylinders, triangular prisms and cuboids. We tested the structures by putting one book at a time onto each structure before it collapsed. We found that the cylinders were the strongest because they don’t have corners.
