Craft and design~ Map it out

We have started our new art topic this week- Map it out. For our first lesson we have been investigating maps as a stimulus for drawing. We looked at a range of different maps and discussed which ones look old or new, real or imaginary, useful or art. We talked about the idea that artists sometimes make maps or work inspired by maps. Using our routes to school we then created a map of our journey.
