Pine have been learning how to be assertive this afternoon. We discussed the meaning of the word and read some examples of assertiveness. We then looked at some real-life situations that we could find ourselves in and how we would deal with them assertively. We acted out some of these situations and the children came up with some fantastic ideas on how to be assertive.
