We have had lots of fun at our Christmas party and enjoyed doing lots of dancing. Our dancing was so good we all got a prize for it. In the afternoon we entered the Bluebell’s theatre once again. This time it was to watch the pantomime Rapunzel. We loved listening to the characters and joined in with their songs. Miss Longmire gave us some popcorn to enjoy while we watched the pantomime. We spotted the sneaky dragon and shouted when we could see him. We have had lots of fun enjoying the show.

We had a brilliant day today in Hawthorn. Buddy the elf had organised lots of fun organising games and treats for the children!
This year we weren’t able to go to a Pantomime, so the pantomime came to us! We have had a really fun afternoon watching the lockdown Panto, joining in with the songs, booing the baddies and shouting “it’s behind you!”

Year 5 have made some fantastic calendars during art lessons this week. First we thought about warm and cool colours and which colours we associate with different seasons. We then used watercolour paints to create the backgrounds. After this we used lines and patterns to draw symbols of the seasons.
