Linking project library visit

    We had a fab morning at Heywood library with Erica from Rochdale Schools Linking Team. Art Week – Islamic artist

Year 5 Juniper were very lucky this morning to have Islamic artist Razwan Ul Haq visit. Razwan is an award winning Arabic Calligrapher and has spent his life creating visual art out of distilling traditional Arabic Calligraphy techniques. This week is Art week at St Luke’s and one of our tasks in Year 5 was digital mark making. The children looked at the different careers that digital mark making can lead to and discussed what they would like to be in the future. Year 1 Sports Day

What a fantastic day we had yesterday for our KS1 sports day. A huge well done to all the children for taking part. They were all amazing! A big thank you to all the family members who came to support and the fabulous parents who joined our parent race (we can see why some of our children are so competitive! Ha!)
