In Science, we have begun to study the features of the human heart.
We have used a range of models and diagrams to help us to play a number of games to memorise and identify the features of a human heart and the flow of blood through the heart. We have played ‘Heads Up’ to show we not only know the features, but can use our speaking and listening skills to explain exactly where they are found and what their function is within the heart.
The children have astonished us with their uptake of knowledge after just one afternoon and have asked us to share with them much more than their knowledge organisers can tell them.
