Circulation Models

Year 6 have continued to demonstrate their impressive knowledge of the Circulatory system.

The children have been able to recall many of the features of the system, even including some of the valves and vessels they have researched independently.

After recalling an amazing amount of information, the children were then given a limited number of junk materials and set the challenge of making a model to show the path blood takes through the Circulatory system. Some of the results were incredible and highlighted the depth of knowledge the children in Year 6 have.

The final challenge was to create their own information text. They were set challenges to earn points based on the amount of factual information they could include, and also the range of writing skills they could apply in their work.
