This afternoon, year 5 researched craters on Earth and on the Moon and compared how they were different. We then discovered how they were formed. We then designed and conducted an investigation to find out how to create the biggest craters. We thought about how to control variables to ensure it was a fair test. We then experimented by dropping different weights into a tray of flour. We then worked in teams to present our findings to the class. We used tables, bar charts, diagrams and sentences.
