During French week we had lots of fun and learnt lots of new things. We tasted French food, the croissants were very yummy!
We learnt about the famous landmarks in France. Our favourite was the Eiffel Tower. We tried to make it using bricks in the construction area and we used match sticks in the creative area.
We all became artists for the week and enjoyed making our own painting. We worked very hard replicating our own version of ‘Monet’s Garden’ by Monet.

For our final Art lesson, we created our own prints using different materials to show off our skills learnt during the half term. Children worked collaboratively to create their designs and print onto the materials. Read more…
