Our English focus over the next few weeks is based around the Christmas advert ‘My Christmas Star’. The children really enjoyed watching the video clip, with many children dancing along, too!
Yesterday, we worked with a partner, using a thesaurus to describe Jasmine and Dad’s feelings using interesting adjectives.
Today, we thought of some questions which we would like to ask Jasmine, and used our imagination to answer the questions. Some of the children came to the front of the class and pretended to be Jasmine, answering everyone’s questions thoughtfully.
We are looking forward to beginning to write a story to go alongside the video tomorrow!
