This week is Careers Week at St Luke’s with a focus on engineering and in Pine today we have been looking into the life of Mae Jemison – the first African-American black woman to become an astronaut. During our lesson we held a press conference for Mae. Children took on the role of being Mae Jemison and answered questions from other class members.
