This week Year 1 completed their phonics screening check. The children have worked so hard all year and have made phenomenal progress. We are incredibly proud of them and decided they deserved a little treat.
Juniper have been discussing First Aid and its importance this afternoon. All the children were extremely knowledgeable about what to do in an emergency situation. The Year 6 Rowan children took part in a basic first aid lesson during PSHE. We discussed first aid situations and incidents, along with the treatment they should receive. We then had a practical session where we were able to put our knowledge into practice to treat our patients!

We have had lots of fun in Year 1 this week. We have learnt all about Easter traditions and why Christians celebrate Easter, made Easter cards, made Easter cakes and had our 500 dojo reward afternoon- watching a film and eating treats. Wishing you all a fantastic Easter!
