Planning a Ghost Story
As we work towards the end of our ghost story unit, we have begun to plan our own ghost stories. We’ve planned our own characters, settings and ghost, ready to write our final piece later this week!

Science club – rafts
Science club have been working towards the Crest Award. In order to be successful, the children have the independently complete different challenges. This week the children completed the task ‘Crafty rafts’. We then tested them in water to see which raft held the most amount of counters before it sank.

Literacy Kicks Sports Journalist Visit
Today, we have the privilege of having Gareth Walker, a sports journalist in for our English lesson. Over the next 5 sessions, he will be guiding the children through writing professional pieces of sports journalism. Today we looked at reporting on England’s Euro 2024 qualifier versus Italy.

Year 6 Christmas Party
Year 6 really enjoyed their Christmas party this afternoon. We played party games, danced and had party food. The staff in Year 6 want to wish all the children and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
