This week in Art Club we took our inspiration from Roy Lichtenstein. Roy Lichtenstein is famous for using Ben-Day dots in his artwork, a technique used to create a pop art aesthetic. This afternoon year 3&4 got a visit from a scientist. He spoke with us about all the exciting careers we could have in science and taught us more about our topic ‘light and sound’. We completed some fun experiments too!
Year 4 have created bright and colourful pictures for the residents at Spring Bank Rest Home for our Random Act of Kindness. We hope the pictures brighten up their day and walls!
