Birch’s visit to the library📚
This morning, year 3 Birch visited Heywood library. We spent time reading books and then each chose a book to bring back to class for our free reading time. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Wow! What a fantastic, fun week we have had with our Topic this week. We learnt all about archaeologists and how they help us to understand pre-history. We have all had an amazing day on our class trip today. It’s been sooooooooo much fun. We’ve painted magnets, made bath bombs and made slime. We watched a fantastic science show and played with lots of fun activities. We even got chance to paint a car! #imaginethat
We had lots of fun estimating and then measuring different things in our classroom. We then had to solve some problems using measures.
Our new topic is ‘Beachcombers’ so we took a trip to the seaside and completed the FANTASTICS. This will help us with our class story ‘Winnie at the seaside’ and all our topic work.
Today we watched a fantastic performance of ‘One little word’. The performance had no speaking parts at all apart from one little word -sorry! It was a very powerful production and all the children were engaged throughout. Thank you M6 for such a thoughtful story #onelittleword
