We have been using 2Question (a binary tree) to answer questions. We had to answer the questions with ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to work out the Purple Mash Avatar names. We worked really well with our partners to name all of the avatars.

Year 2 were questioned by the Geography lead to see if they could remember key facts from their lessons from Year 1 and 2. They used Santa to show their understanding. They did so well remembering the continents, the oceans and the 4 point compass.
Year 2 have been exploring properties of shapes. In this lesson, children explored reflective symmetry. They learnt to identify shapes and images that had reflective symmetry and identified where the line of symmetry lies. They used mirrors to help them with their work.
Year 2 have had such a lovely day at the Cherwell Centre visiting Santa. We got to meet some reindeers and some cheeky elves too. We also had a snowball fight with Elsa and Olaf. To finish we all decorated gingerbread men and had delicious hot chocolate.
