Year 1 Oaks ~ shapes!
Year 1 loved this shape sorting activity. They had to decide how many sides each shape has and then sort them into the different groups. We then had to draw round them and label each shape.

Oaks had so much fun at their shared learning. They worked hard with an adult to find out if certain materials were absorbent. Then we went to lunch! It was so tasty. thank you to everyone that came…and well done to the children, they were so well behaved!
Today we looked at coding and what coding means! We loved trying to make the fish move in the correct direction. Some of us drew the coding blocks, to indicate where the fish would move and what blocks to click.
