Boys from Year 5&6 managed to win the FA Cup football competition, finishing first above 6 other schools. Well done to all of the boys who played.
Juniper have had another visit from Mrs Weatherhead this week. We’ve had a fantastic time exploring different types of poems. We’ve written poems of our own about Heywood and its surrounding areas and produced some fantastic artwork. Eventually, we’ll be publishing a book of these poems – watch this space!
This half term we have been investigating ‘Separating Mixtures’ for our science topic. This week we conducted an investigation into formulations and mixtures using orange juice and water. This morning we have been experimenting with sentences! We identified the main clause and subordinate clause of a sentence. We then played around with the structure of the sentences by moving the clauses. Have a look at some of our fantastic work.

Juniper have enjoyed celebrating European Languages Day today. We have learnt some interesting facts about languages in other countries. Did you know that if you ask for pasta in Italian then you are asking for toothpaste in Poland!?
Juniper have enjoyed visiting St Luke’s Church this morning to take part in some harvest experiences. The school’s Ethos Team did a great job of helping out our class to complete various experiences.
