To retrace Darwin’s footsteps, Year 6 went on a virtual journey around the Galapagos Islands.

We used Google Streetview to move around the islands, looking for plant and animal life to observe.

We noted the living things we came across and drew conclusions from our observations, such as why certain animals were on the different islands, why plants might be able to grow on the driest of the islands, and how the islands differ from each other.
