As part of our share-a-story World Book Day (WBD) theme, Year 6 decided to build on some of their previous writing…ghost stories.

We have produced a two-part guide on how to be a monster.

The guides are inspired by a WBD author masterclass, where an author suggested taking your normal daily routine and changing it to fit a different type of character.

We took our daily routine and changed brushing your teeth for gargling with fresh blood or even toilet water.

We then wrote individual instructions on how to effectively scare children if you are a monster. As you can see, the guides the children created are eye-catching and amazing! The writing inside is of such a high quality that we can’t wait to share some of them with you all.
