We had a fantastic day out for our school trip to Eureka. We visited the dentist and the doctor, went to the bank, became mechanics and even went to Marks and Spencer to do some shopping!

We became artists in Year 1 this week and created observational drawings of famous landmarks in the United Kingdom. Have a look at some of our masterpieces!
In our topic lessons we have been learning about the Great Fire of London. We learnt that the fire started in a bakery where bread was made so we followed instructions to make our own bread rolls. We then got to try the bread – it was very yummy!
For the second part of Eco Week we have been recycling our plastic bottles that we use at home. We brought them to school and used them to make some beautiful flowers that we are going to put in Kayden’s Garden.
Today we had some visitors come and speak to us about road safety. They brought a big HGV for us to look at – Mrs Whitworth even got to sit in the drivers seat!
