Problem Solving In Afterschool Club
This half-term in after-school club, we have been developing our essential skill of problem solving through a range of engaging and active challenges. 3D Spider
This half-term, Year 1 have been exploring the art skill of creating 3D forms using paper. During our recent lesson, the children worked collaboratively to design and build a large spider model inspired by Maman by Louise Bourgeois. We used a variety of techniques to turn newspaper and tape into 3D spiders. Random Act of Kindness
This week we have been taking part in Random Acts of Kindness. We collected donations for Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, made pictures for our friends, created a Word Art on the computer for our friends and we completed a Kindness tree to show how many time we have been kind this week.
