To start off our careers week in school as part of World Book Day, we had a visit from PC Partington and one of his colleagues. They are police dog handlers and they brought some of their police dogs with them. World Book Day 2024 – careers

Today, we started our celebrations for World Book Day. Our focus this year is on ‘Careers’. Year 6 were honoured to have Mr Partington, a dog handler in the police, come to visit our class with his working dogs. He spoke to the classes about becoming a police officer and how become a specialist dog handler. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session this morning – thank you!
