World Book Day – Careers Focus

Juniper have absolutely outdone themselves today with their outfits for our Careers day. They are truly an inspiration to us all. We have celebrated world book day this year, focusing on careers. We have come to school dressed up as something we aspire to be when we grow up. World book day and Careers week in Year 1

To celebrate world book day and careers week, Year 1 dressed up as something they would like to be when they are older. They all looked absolutely amazing! Besides dressing up, we have also watched a video of people in a variety of careers, wrote about the career we would like to do in the future, had a visit from a builder and read stories about careers. What a fantastic week we have had!

What a brilliant day we have had! Careers week

This week we have celebrated Careers week. We explored all the different jobs we might have when we are older. We created a wonderful piece of writing around our research of different occupations and enjoyed reading books around different professions

Electrical Circuits

Juniper are learning about electrical circuits this half term. We have looked at the different components that make a circuit. We’ve learnt their symbols and had a go at making some circuits. We discussed what effect removing certain components from a circuit may have, then we put these into practise. Enjoy looking at the photographs of our circuits.

World Book Day

Snowdrops looked amazing today for World Book Day! We had lots of children who dressed up as different careers such as fire fighters, police officers, palaeontologists, astronauts, builders etc. We talked about the different careers and how these people help us.
