5 ways to well being

We have really enjoyed learning about 5 ways to wellbeing in year one. For ‘connect’ we created pictures including a drawing of someone we wanted to connect with at home, we wrote compliments and adjectives to do describe them. Artwork to show the Christian Value of Love

In Willows, we have been creating artwork linked to the Christian value of Love. We worked together in a pairs to shade some hearts and then painted hearts in the style of Kandinsky. We used lots of bright colours to make them stand out. We think the artwork will look really effective on display. Well done Willows, you have worked really hard to create something lovely pieces of artwork.

Who do we trust?

    In our reflective worship we listened to the story of David and Goliath and talked about when we trust others and God it can help us overcome our fears. We we made ‘flowers of trust’ in the middle we wrote our name and then on each petal we wrote the names of people who we trust. We included God and our friends and family members on our petals.

Inside Out!

Today has been ‘Inside Out’ day in school. Juniper came to school dressed in their clothes, but inside out!
