Wow Rochdale music services what an amazing assembly, thank you so much! The children thoroughly enjoyed you coming in and were really keen to answer questions about the instruments you were playing and talk about them. You have inspired a lot of children to continue to play their instruments or to learn to play a new instrument.
This half term Maple are learning about ‘Rivers & Mountains’. We immersed ourselves in the topic by listening to the sounds a river makes and watching clips of majestic mountains. The children thought about what they might hear, see and touch if they were there. They imagined what it would be like and asked themselves questions about the height of the mountains and the depth of the river.

This week a lending library in Reception has been introduced. We had lots of children come into school to choose a book with a parent or an adult. Thank you to everyone for taking part and we hope you have enjoyed reading your book! The lending library will be open again on Tuesday from 8.35am. We hope you’ll all come again to choose another book!
