Greater than, less than

Today during our maths, Year 1 have been learning to use the greater than and less than symbols. We enjoyed a practical  maths lesson to begin to understand how to use these symbols. We then had a practice of writing the symbols with numbers on our pads! The children did so well!

We have had a fun day celebrating European day of languages. We came to school wearing red, white and blue then started the day by eating delicious croissants while listening to French music. We have been learning how to say hello and hi in French and took part in a traditional French dance lesson too.

European Languages Day

What a fun day of languages! We started the morning with some french music, followed by a delicious pain au chocolat. This afternoon we’ve been busy learning how to say we have a pet, as well as competing in a Kahoot quiz about European countries, singing heads, shoulders, knees and toes in French and taking part in a Spanish dance workshop. We’ve all enjoyed every minute of it! Well done everyone!

Language day

Today we have been celebrating language day.we had brioche to start the day and have completed fun language activities throughout the day. We had a special Spanish dance workshop this afternoon

Today we have celebrated the European Day of Languages! We have enjoyed many different activities a big thank you to Mrs Pilliteri for organising the day.
