We loved running round the garden, looking for colourful, vibrant plants. We have lots of amazing plants still, even in Autumn. We enjoyed clearing away some of the leaves 🍂 and putting them on the compost heap.

Our story this week is Room on the Broom. During forest school, we all worked together to make our own potion. We talked about what ingredients we would need to create a spell and what our spell would do. Everyone had a brilliant imagination!
We celebrated our learning with a prayer hunt. Here are some pictures of our celebrations.
Snowdrops went on a prayer hunt during Forest school. They searched for images of Jesus. We discussed the differences and similarities of the pictures. Year 6 joined the rest of KS2 on a prayer hunt. We took part in various activities across school, focusing on the following themes: Different representations of Jesus Seeds of Peace Prayer for refuge and safety Tree rings The World and Christianity Transforming natural materials into art.

Snowdrops have all made a bird feeder this afternoon and some have been litter picking. We discussed who and how this helps. We linked our forest school session to our Bible story of the term “Mary and Martha” we split into two groups, both groups did a good deed. We Read more…
Last night the children enjoyed all their snacks they’d bought at the shops and relaxed ready for a fun filled day today. They kick started the day with a big breakfast followed by team games. Then we headed over to the zip line and trapeze where the children thoroughly enjoyed Read more…
The children have had a wonderful night sleep and they’ve thoroughly enjoyed breakfast this morning. This morning the children have done abseiling, orienteering, giant swing and challenge course. Every child has been amazing and really tried to conquer their fears of heights. Well done all.
Year 6 have safely arrived at PGL, and have already enjoyed activities such as abseiling, climbing and sensory trail. We’re currently playing archery tag and designing a device to keep a water balloon safe when it’s dropped from the roof of the centre!
