Juniper have enjoyed visiting St Luke’s Church this morning to take part in some harvest experiences. The school’s Ethos Team did a great job of helping out our class to complete various experiences.

Our Year 5/6 football team took part in the Heywood Sports Partnership Premier League competition. The team were excellent throughout, winning 5 games and drawing 1, clinching 1st place and remaining undefeated on the night. Juniper have been working hard this week on their place value knowledge. We’ve worked with some very large numbers and are able to read and write numbers to one million. We’ve used place value grids and counters to represent given numbers and we’ve made some of our own. We’ve challenged Read more…
Today Year 5 Juniper had our first forest school session of the half term. The children discussed our value for this half term ‘Respect’ and created acrostic poems. We had fun freeze framing our summer activities as well as doing a bug and tree hunt and playing hide and seek.
