In RE, Year 6 have been looking at the Christmas Story. We focused on Jesus as The Son, The Father and The Holy Spirit. The children discussed and defined the word Incarnation. Ice Race

To mark the end of our ‘Physical and Chemical Changes’ topic, Juniper have carried out an investigative task which challenged them to free a toy car from a block of ice using pure salt, rock salt and bicarbonate of soda. They had to find out which substance would melt the ice the quickest. Experimental mark making

Year 6 have started a new topic in ART – Drawing (making my voice heard). Today, we started our first lesson we started to explore the patterns, colours and symbols of Maya art and recording findings through experimental and expressive mark making using handmade tools and new surfaces.
