We had the chance to investigate The Blitz from both British and German perspectives. We looked at how Britain had to try and tackle a continuous onslaught of German bombing raids, evacuating children to the countryside and also enforcing blackouts. First week back

We have had a busy, fun first week back. We have been using adverbs to describe different verbs, improving boring sentences, completing a science experiment and using different equipment to represent a number. The children have all really settled in well to Year 2 and have been working really hard 😃

What was life like for an evacuee during World War 2?   We looked at images to try and infer what evacuees were thinking, feeling and how they would act during the war. Queen’s Park Fun

We were so happy to reach 20 marbles in Bluebells, it meant that we were able to pick a treat. We all decided to go to Queen’s Park and we were so excited!! Luickily it didn’t not rain and we were able to go this afternoon. We had lots of fun!
